Dear Jazz Friends
i would like to welcome you to the historic Old Town of Sargans and to the traditional International
Dixie and Jazz Festival of Sargans, wich is an important music event in Eastern Switzerland. We are
dedicated to cultivating traditional jazz, and have gained an exellent reputation in Switzerland as
well as abroad.
The magnificent setting in the Old Town below the impressive Castle of Sargans gives the festival its
unique charm. This experience is not to be missed!
On the end of August you will find on six stages within 300 meters over 20 bands
from different nations performing a diversified programm including New Orleans
Jazz and Boogie over Swing and Gospel till Dixieland and Blues. International famous
musicians will have for one weekend a rendezvous of top class experience and will
inspire an audience from near and far.
The next International Dixie-& Jazz-Festival in Sargans will performed from August
27th to 29th 2010. Please reserve this date in your agende and experience
unforgettable jazz heighlights in Sargans!
